With Coronavirus (COVID-19) top of mind, we want to make sure you are aware of our cleaning processes. As a member of the Le Tote community, your health and safety are priority number one.
According to the CDC, flu viruses are killed through a variety of processes including exposure to heat above 167°F, detergents (soap) and alcohols. All of our clothing and accessories are cleaned in-house utilizing these CDC recommended processes.
Le Tote’s clothing items are either wet or dry cleaned with detergents. In addition, wet cleaned items are sent through a steam tunnel or pressing processes in which they are exposed to steam that is over 200°F. All jewelry is cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner with soap. We then utilize ATP swab testing to ensure that every piece of jewelry is thoroughly sanitized. Belts and handbags are deep cleaned with alcohol-based disinfectant wipes.
We are also taking additional steps within our distribution center by wiping down equipment and laundry facilities with alcohol-based disinfectants every day.
We will continue to monitor the latest news from the CDC and WHO and will notify members if we make any changes to our cleaning processes as the situation continues to evolve.
